Buffett & Company is pleased to have been granted the National Quality Institute’s (NQI) highest honour, the CAE Order of Excellence, Healthy Workplace. 

This national award recognizes Canadian organizations with sustained exemplary worksite wellness programs and healthy workplace cultures. We are very proud of this award and what it says about our healthy workplace and the people with whom we work.

Buffett & Company accepted this award at the NQI CAE Gala in Toronto on

Buffett & Company President & CEO receives prestigious Doctor of Laws degree, honoris causa, from McMaster University, for his pioneering work in Canadian worksite wellness and for his commitment to a healthier Canada.

Buffett & Company salutes our President and CEO, Mr. Edward Buffett, on his
recently bestowed Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from McMaster University in
Hamilton, Ontario.  As a leader in Canada’s worksite wellness and health promotion
field, Ed has contributed tremendously to the advancement of research and best
practices for worksite wellness in Canada. 

A member of the federal government’s Action Research Roundtable on Workplace Wellbeing, Ed also served on the board of HealNet and convened the Toronto Health Summit which inspired the creation of the Wellness Council of Canada. Additionally,
Ed was recognized as one of fourteen “Canadian wellness heroes” in Physical Fitness
and Wellness and he was one of the inaugural recipients of the Who’s Who in
HealthCare Award.

Small Organizations, 2005-2007

Buffett & Company (then named Buffett Taylor & Associates Ltd.) was presented with the prestigious Canada Awards for Excellence, Gold Healthy Workplace Trophy, Small Organizations, 2005-2007 at a gala in Toronto in October 2005.  This national award recognizes Canadian organizations with exemplary worksite wellness programs and healthy workplace cultures.

Business Achievement Award, 2005

Buffett & Company (then named Buffett Taylor & Associates Ltd.) was presented with
the Business Achievement Award, 2005 by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce.  We
are very proud to be recognized as a leader in the community in which we live, work
