Welcome to Buffett and Company

Today’s workforce faces challenges unknown to the workforce 100 years ago.  We have replaced yesteryear’s health concerns of measles, tuberculosis and pneumonia with today’s major health concerns: heart disease, cancer, mental illness and stroke.  We have cultivated these diseases with our unhealthy behaviours:  sedentary lifestyles, excessive commitments, poor nutrition and chronic stress. The good news?  These unhealthy behaviours are modifiable.

Unlike an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or an Employee Benefits Program provider, Buffett & Company’s main focus is on worksite health promotion and disease prevention.  We are proactive in identifying common health trends and anticipating shifts in health concerns for your employee population.  We know that a healthy employee is good for the community and good for your bottom line.

So what exactly is Worksite Wellness?
It is a worksite intervention that proactively identifies actual and anticipated employee health concerns and educates employees to make better choices to reduce their risk of disease and premature death.  Additionally, worksite wellness creates a culture conducive to health and well-being, which in turn increases employee productivity, loyalty and morale, reduces absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover and lost productivity, and positions your organization as an “employer of choice”.
